Winery Review: Single varietals made from estate grapes, both classic of the Maryland terroir with high acidity and earthiness. Offers cherry fruit with a crisp finish.
My Review: This wine was a dark, bright red. The aroma gave off a wood smell mixed in with cherries. It had a medium body and easily had the highest tannins of the rest of the wines at this tasting. The taste stayed on the palate for a couple of minutes, but still provided a refreshing taste. This was also had without food.
