Tasting - Black Drum Red

Name: Slack Black Drum Red
Variety: 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 20% Barbera
Region: Maryland
Country: United States
Year: 2012
Price: $27.99

Winery Review: Jammy nose, ripe black cherry aromatics.

My Review: This wine seemed to taste similar to the Red Drum Red. I was able to get a cherry aroma right away. After tasting, I thought it had a medium body, but light tannins. There was just a small bite in the mid-palate. The aftertaste was smooth, soft, and did not stay very long on the palate. This was had without food.
