Shop Review: This ruby-colored wine has aromas of raspberry, cherry, and a hint of vanilla. Flavors of cherry and plum lead to a soft velvety finish. This wine can be enjoyed by itself. It is also an excellent accompaniment with Brie, goat cheese, and smoke salmon. Lamb shanks and pork tenderloin are a favoite main dish to pair with this wine.
My Review: The color of this was a bright, ruby red. I could smell a bouquet of cherries and raspberries. This wine also seemed to have a somewhat heavy mouthfeel to me. However, there was something sweet in the background of the flavor which seemed to be like vanilla. The finish did not last very long. I had this without food.
